The Goal

The 'glitch' effects aim to add bold, messy visuals to a vibrant, energetic video. Using subtle imperfections that build to a crescendo by the end. They also help blend shots together, creating whole sections of mixed scenes.

The Approach

The approach focused on using procedural-looking effects, using a mix of tracking data points and colour data, manipulating them into different shapes to use as masks. Time displacements were applied to drag scenes in or out, pre-empting and merging shots with the glitch effect. All effects were done inside Adobe After Effects.
