The Approach
To establish a cold, contrasting aesthetic, complementing the black and white design of the XT-4. The generative glitches and distortions help to contrast the bleak, brutalist feel of the video.

To establish a cold, contrasting aesthetic, complementing the black and white design of the XT-4. The generative glitches and distortions help to contrast the bleak, brutalist feel of the video.
The approach focused on using 'procedural' looking effects, using a mix of tracking data points and colour data, manipulating their shapes into a collective of shapes to use masks. Time displacements were applied to drag scenes in or out, pre-empting new shots with glitches. All VFX were done inside of Adobe After Effects.
